Hello, my name is Jessica, I am a native of Florida and a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern with the state. I have a passion to cultivate a therapeutic space for individuals in my direct community to process and begin their healing journey from traumatic and unwanted experiences. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree from Jacksonville University and my Master’s program at Troy University with a degree in clinical mental health counseling.
Some of my techniques include but are not limited to Trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), narrative therapy and psychoanalytic therapy (talk therapy).
I work with various adult clients and I have experience in crisis trauma work. Ability to see clients dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, stress and life transitions.
I hope to assist you with navigating through your healing process, facilitate change by eliminating barriers, and be a catalyst to promote self-advocacy. I am an advocate for access to quality of care for everyone. Through our work together, I hope to gain better knowledge of your world and how you would like to be seen as you navigate your journey through life. I strive to provide safe, conversational- nonjudgmental therapeutic environment where we can identify areas of unhelpful patterns and gain new strengths along with insight to be the best version of your authentic self from a holistic perspective. You are the drive and I am just the GPS!
