Fauzia Adeyemo is a mental health therapist with Mending Moments Therapy. She obtained a Master of Science in clinical mental health counseling and a Masters in general public health. As a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern, Fauzia has experience in individual, group, and family therapy. Fauzia specializes in treatment for various conditions including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and panic disorders.
Therapeutic approaches:
Fauzia’s primary theoretical application of practice is cognitive-behavioral therapy in the treatment of these conditions. For clients requiring a more intensive approach for chronic diagnoses, Fauzia applies many of the attributes of Solution-focused, Psychodynamic, Gestalt, and Family Systems theoretical orientations. Fauzia’s approach to mental health therapy relies on the importance of the foundation of Therapist-Client relationship through empathy as she works collaboratively with clients to support their process of realizing their worth, resiliency, and capability of overcoming life’s greatest challenges.
